Sincerity does not guarantee good teaching

Context

In his book, Becoming a Critically Reflective Teacher, Stephen Brookfield discusses what it means to be a critically reflective teacher.

'One of the hardest things teachers have to learn is that the sincerity of their intentions Brookfield does not guarantee the purity of their practice.' (Brookfield p. 1)
