		Unit 3		Keep people and vehicles safe
			Element 2		Drives in a manner that reflects valuing of life and property
						PC (a)	Complies with OH&S policy and legislation
						notes:	Demonstrates an understanding that an ambulance is a workplace, and that the law requires personnel to take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions in the workplace.
							Demonstrates an understanding of the legal requirement to cooperate with management's decisions on OH&S matters, and to carry out any required actions.
							Slows down or makes an appropriate adjustment when a passenger expresses concern (verbally or non-verbally) for his or her safety.
							Can explain how stress resulting from enduring driving that is perceived to be unsafe could accumulate and become a work injury.
							Reports incidents and risks to safety including: unsafe driving of others organisational practice that results in risks to drivers' safety (includes practices that result in driver fatigue) vehicle faults newly identified hazards in vehicles newly identified hazards in local area
