Where values, beliefs, thinking styles or motivations are the reason for behaviour differing from the standard, the driver must demonstrate the ability to reflect critically on their way of seeing things. The driver is reflecting critically when they make objective observations about, and constructively challenge, their own thinking - they do not defend their thinking. |

For this criterion, the quality of the self-examination is more important than what the driver ultimately decides to do. |
