						notes:	Keeps the engine within its optimum torque range and stays under the engine's red-line.
							Manages kick-down to minimise strain on the vehicle and brakes smoothly to an appropriate speed when there is a need to manually engage lower gears.
							Brakes in a way that avoids the need for ABS to be activated.
							Recognises when ABS or traction control is activated and immediately identifies the driving error that caused it.
							Brakes, steers and accelerates the vehicle without the tyres squealing or making loud scrubbing noises.
							Can explain the consequences (financial and safety) of operating the vehicle at and beyond its mechanical limits.
							Can escribe the various cues that tell the driver he or she is nearing the limit of adhesion.
							Can explain and demonstrate the techniques for regaining a reserve of grip.
